Kids Parties
Host a birthday party for your child at Portland Pottery!
Kids Party Info
**Please note that all parties and private lessons are located at our Fox Street Studio (49 Fox Street, Portland, ME) not at our main studio (Washington Ave) unless otherwise discussed**
During the 2-hour party, kids will learn the basics of making pottery and will let their imaginations soar while working on their own pieces. One of our fabulous instructors will help the kids work on their own projects and help pick out what colors they want their work to be. Please choose an age appropriate activity when you register for a party (options in the image).
After the party, Portland Pottery will trim, glaze, and fire your party’s work and will let you know once the pots are ready to be picked up. It will be ready to be picked up in 2-3 weeks. Your pots will be food, dishwasher and microwave safe. Please note that there is a possibility of a piece breaking during the firing process! We do everything we can to avoid this, but it is still possible. If this happens, we will offer you a piece made by one of our staff members.
You are welcome to bring birthday cake, presents, and/or decorations to celebrate!
