Our adult class meet once a week for 8 weeks with plenty of open studio time availability. We run 6 sessions a year. Many students repeat their class, so we do have limited openings.
If you are new to pottery, we recommend signing up for an Intro class. If you are hoping to try your hand at the wheel without committing to a 2-month class, we recommend signing up for one of our Fridays at Fox classes (a 2-hour semi-private wheel throwing lesson offered every Friday).

Yes, we offer kiln installation services. Kiln installation fees start at $110 for installation, this does not include freight or travel fees. Please call for a quote.
-
Please consult with one of our sales representatives. Please also consult with an electrician. Almost all kilns will require an electrician to install a new breaker in your electrical panel and an outlet to plug in your new kiln. Complete our kiln order form that we will send you. We do not stock kilns so the lead times will vary depending on the manufacturer. Kilns ordered not using a Purchase Order will require a $500 deposit.
-
Please be sure to thoroughly inspect your kiln as soon as you receive it. In the event that you discover possible damage well after delivery, Portland Pottery Supply and your kiln manufacturer are no longer liable. Carriers generally only extend a maximum time frame of 36 hours in which to file a claim following delivery of your kiln.
